The 80/20 Commission Model

How Earnings Work

The customer pays 100% of the booking price. DOSTIN retains a 20% platform commission. The companion receives 80% of the base booking price.

Payment & Payout Flow

1. Backend Verification

Payment occurs after companion acceptance. A local success screen on Android is not final. The DOSTIN backend verifies the payment signature before confirming the booking.

2. Payout Hold

Companion earnings remain on hold until the booking is completed and all safety/dispute checks pass.

3. Payout Eligibility

Once eligible, the payout is processed to the companion's verified UPI ID or bank account via an approved payout provider.

4. Provider Confirmation

Only provider-confirmed payout is marked as paid. The backend remains authoritative.

Cancellation & Refund Windows

More than 24 hours

100% refund of the booking price.

2 to 24 hours

50% refund of the booking price.

Less than 2 hours

0% standard refund.

Valid Exceptions: Full refunds may apply for companion cancellation, companion no-show, duplicate payment, failed payment, booking not created, safety incidents, approved disputes, or legal requirements.
